Nicki and Clive welcome you to
Paloma Gardens and hope you enjoy your visit!
Explore our exotic gardens, landscaped with plants from all over the world, from the jungles of Asia to the deserts of Africa and the Americas. Paloma has been awarded "Garden of National Significance" by New Zealand Gardens Trust since the Trust's inception in 2004.
Our garden is best presented as several distinct zones, including the Palm Garden, the Desert House, the Garden of Death, the Bamboo Forests, the Jardin Exotique, the Wedding Lawn and several arboreta. There's also Moto 71, our classic motor bikes gallery with around 50 beautiful motorcycles on display. No touching!
You are welcome to picnic in the gardens which are open all year, bar inclement weather. Please, no sports equipment and no barbecues any where in Paloma.
There's always something new or special, such as a new project or the season's most beautiful plant.
Paloma is home to several sculptures, most notably by Steuart Welch, Simone Jacquat, Ivan Vostinar, Rick Rudd and Clive Higgie.
We welcome bookings for wedding ceremonies, celebrations and gatherings at Paloma.
Why not enjoy a relaxing stay in our romantic bed and breakfast, the Red House? Or else camp among the bamboo tubs.
